Crickets history

Cricket is a very old sport, and may have originated as early as the 1200s or possibly even earlier. Written documentation exists that Creag game was played by royalty in the year 1300
The game Creckett mentioned in a court case from 1598, where it is said that it was played at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford around 1550. This must also be stated that the earliest occurrence of the game in some recognized lexical works.
Cricket grew dramatically in the 1600s in southeastern England, and was at the entrance to the 1700's a somewhat organized sport. Betting on matches were common, and it is possible that the first professionals appeared about the time. The earliest the fight with such bets we know, was played in 1697. Even then the game had great similarity with the current version, with eleven players on each team.
In the course of the 1700s developed the game significantly, and had been England's national sport by the end of the century. Professional team was then formed, sponsored by rich and noble. Much money could be earned, when gambling on cricket had become very widespread. The game was popular in London as early as 1707, and matches were played at the Artillery Ground in Finsbury drew large crowds. First-class cricket occurred when Hambledon Club was formed, about 1750. This club would be an unofficial focus of the game for about thirty years, until the path the Lord's was opened in 1787, and the associated club Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), which quickly established itself as the official governing body, with control over the cricket laws.
In the course of the 1800s took two controversial changes: forearm cast was replaced with side-arm throw and then with overarm throw, as is the current cast method. During this period there was also formed many more cricket clubs in the various counties (counties), which led to the formation of a championship. The first Superbowl was played in 1844, between the U.S. and Canada, while an English team traveled to tour North America in 1859. In 1877, the first test match ever played in Melbourne in Australia between Australia and England.
Cricket was an Olympic sport in 1900 in Paris. The Olympic form had two-day cricket matches. Britain is the reigning Olympic champions in cricket.
The year 1963 marked the beginning of a golden age of cricket, when a new form for English county games were introduced so that each team had a certain number of throws. This made the games more popular, and led the first international one-day matches with a limited number of throws was played in 1971. The International Cricket Union (ICC) accepted this new form of betting that hand shape for the longer test matches, and in addition, they began to arrange the World Cup one-day cricket, the first World Cup was played in 1975. Since then, this form of betting has become very popular, and pushed for a period of some test matches on the sidelines. In the twenty-first century, however, test matches regained much of its former popularity, especially in England and Australia after their matches in the summer of 2005, and Test matches are still the most prestigious cricket shape as seen from the players and the hard-boiled fans' point of view.
